Coaching takes you on an empowering journey during which you set and achieve a goal that is unique to you. Once an inspirational goal is set, I then guide you to develop a plan of inspired action, identifying steps which gradually take you to where you want to be. As the journey unfolds, you grow, stretch beyond your boundaries. Shed a light on patterns that kept you stuck. Get to know yourself better. When our journey finishes, you move forward with greater self-awareness, self-empowerment and clarity knowing how to give yourself the support you need. The simple yet powerful essence of coaching is the power of you. My role as a coach is to guide, encourage, and challenge you to find the best answers: within yourself.
What is coaching?
Coaching is not…
As a coach in this partnership, I will never give advice, recommendations, suggestions, or in any way influence you, or tell you what to do. Coaching focuses on the present (i.e. what’s happening now, what steps am I taking) and the future (the inspirational goal). Unlike therapy, coaching does not focus on the past. However, the coaching process can have a ‘therapeutic’ effect, because the process gives you the space to be seen, heard, reflect and expand your self-awareness.
A typical coaching journey is 6 sessions, taking place on a monthly basis, over the course of 6 months. Having said that, the number of sessions and the frequency can be easily tailored to your needs. Each session is 1 hour long. Over the course of this journey I guide, encourage and challenge you to steadily move closer to and achieve an inspiring goal (which we set in Session 1).
What is a typical coaching journey?
Is coaching for me?
Coaching can be a powerfully transformative experience for you if you:
✓ Feel ready for a change but not sure where to begin
✓ Want to achieve a specific goal by developing a plan which is unique to you
✓ Are looking for a sustainable self-empowerment
✓ Want to gain clarity and a broader perspective on yourself and the current situation
✓ Would like to get to know yourself better
In a coaching partnership, my contribution as a coach is to:
✓Encourage and support you in discovering, clarifying, setting and achieving an inspirational goal
✓Evoke awareness by reflecting and asking powerful questions
✓Hold space for you where you can be your true self and share and explore privately and safely
✓Challenge and stretch, by inviting you to investigate your beliefs and expand your understanding beyond the current limits
✓Elicit learning and solutions that originate from you
✓ Solely focus on you and your process

Your role in this journey
You will be getting the most out of this process when you communicate openly and honestly and come in open to feedback and assistance. Your dedication and commitment to create the time and energy for the coaching journey also play an important role.
Ultimately, a coaching partnership works the best when you take control and own responsibility for 1) the coaching journey (and what you want to get out of it) and the choices you make throughout this process, 2) implementing steps and taking action, and 3) driving your own development.
